Greg Heller

Thank you for your interest in testing with me!

I normally do testing on weekdays, but will consider a request to test on a Saturday. (I may, at my discretion, charge more for weekend tests.)

Normally I can do a test with a week advance notice. However, depending on the time of the year (May-June, December-January), I can be scheduled two months or more in advance, so it is best to plan early. I attempt to fit all test requests in as quickly as I am able.

To request a test with me, please complete the test scheduling form (preferred) or send me an email at [email protected]. After making your request, I will normally respond via email within two working days.

Test payment will normally be done via PayPal in advance, or with cash or cash app the day of the test. Other options might be available if arranged in advance. I will provide you with an invoice and a receipt for your payment.

For additional information, please see the FAQs, or feel free to send me an email at [email protected].

About Me

I am an A&P Mechanic with an Inspection Authorization (IA). On the flight side of things, I am a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor. I have been an FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) since 2014.

My aviation career started in 1986, when I started out as a mechanic at United Airlines. Since that time, I have been a Pilot/Mechanic for Mission Aviation Fellowship, an Instructor at Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, and an Aviation Professor at Moody Bible Institute. I retired from Moody in 2019.

I have a BS in Aviation Technology from LeTourneau University, and a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle University.
